Cookie and Browser Storage Policy
This page lists every cookie and every piece of browser storage this website actually uses. Nothing is copied from a template — the list below reflects the site's real behaviour.

1. What we store in your browser
This website does not set advertising cookies and does not use tracking cookies. It stores a small number of items in your browser's local storage so the site behaves the way you expect.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration | Party | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| villa-rosa-locale | Villa Rosa (local storage) | Remembers whether you chose English, German or Italian. | Preferences | Until you clear your browser storage | First-party | Not required (set only after you choose a language) |
| villa-rosa-privacy-notice | Villa Rosa (local storage) | Remembers that you closed the information notice, so it is not shown again. | Strictly necessary | Until you clear your browser storage | First-party | Not required |
2. Website statistics
Basic visitor statistics are provided by the Lovable hosting platform at platform level: visitor numbers, page views, pages viewed, visit duration, bounce rate, traffic sources and device category. This measurement is not controlled by a script we added and cannot be switched on or off from inside this website, so we do not show a switch that would pretend otherwise.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, session recording or any advertising tag.
3. Content loaded from other services
Two external services are contacted by your browser while pages load. They do not place cookies for us, but they do receive the technical data every web request contains, including your IP address:
- Google Fonts — the typefaces used across the site.
- OpenStreetMap — map tiles on the pages that show an interactive map. Leaflet, the map library, may also keep temporary map data in your browser cache.
Links to Booking.com, Instagram and Outdooractive open those websites in a new tab. Their own cookies apply only once you are there.
4. How to control this storage
You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. If you clear the language entry, the site simply falls back to the language in the address you open. No feature of the website is lost.
